Thea is our Associate Director of Communications. She oversees the Centre’s publications, website and social media to communicate our life-changing work.

Andy Bell

Andy Bell is the Centre’s Chief Executive and leads our work towards equality, social justice and mental health for all. He has worked at the Centre since 2002 and has extensive knowledge of policy and campaigning.

Anna Iskander-Reynolds

Anna is one of our Senior Research Leads, who brings a unique blend of systems thinking, creative problem-solving and project management skills to our team

Bethan Bottomley

Bethan is our Public Affairs Assistant. She helps the policy team to build and sustain external relationships and collaborations.

Charlotte Rainer

Charlotte is Coalition Lead for the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition and is responsible for their policy and public affairs work.

Chiamaka Okafor

Chiamaka is the Centre’s Digital Assistant and promotes our work through engaging digital content across our social media channels.

David Woodhead PhD

David Woodhead leads our research team, with a particular interest in issues relating to racism, the criminal justice system and LGBT health

Ed Davie

Ed is our Policy & Public Affairs Lead. He is is passionate about reducing health inequalities by addressing social and environmental determinants.

Frederico Cardoso

Frederico is the Centre’s Senior Economist whose main driver is to make good mental health care available and accessible to all.

Graham Durcan

Graham is a Senior Fellow at the Centre. A psychiatric nurse by training, his research work has had a particular focus on the criminal justice system.
