Morgan Vine

Morgan Vine is the Head of UK Policy and Influencing at the national charity Independent Age where she leads activity calling for improvements to the policies and practises that let down people facing financial hardship in later life.

Across her career Morgan has worked with, and amplified the voices of, people experiencing disadvantage and discrimination; using their insight and evidence to catalyse system change across a range of topics including mental and physical health, social security, employment, and social care.

Since joining the third sector, Morgan has worked for multiple national charities including Age UK, RNIB, Parkinson’s UK, and Versus Arthritis. She has played a key role in high-profile coalitions including being on the steering group of the UK Commission on Bereavement, the co-chair of the Older People’s taskforce which formed part of the UK Government’s Tackling Loneliness Network, and was the former Chair of both the Continuing Healthcare Alliance and the Prescription Charges Coalition. Morgan is also a Trustee for Age UK Bromley and Greenwich, a large local charity offering services and support to older people in the local area.
