Equally Well UK invites you to an online event in collaboration with University College London
Join us for an inspiring session showcasing two important areas of research that address the needs of people living with severe mental illness. We’re delighted to welcome Dr Philippa Shaw and Dr Sarah Yardley, who will share their latest work and insights.
- Dr Philippa Shaw and her team will present Primrose, an evidence-based approach to care designed to support people with severe mental illness in reducing their risk of cardiovascular disease, and will be discussing research on its implementation.
- Dr Sarah Yardley will share reflections from her Churchill Fellowship, exploring how to improve care for people with severe mental illness who also require palliative care for advanced, incurable physical illness.
By attending, you’ll gain practical knowledge of evidence-based approaches to reducing cardiovascular risk in severe mental illness and valuable insights into enhancing palliative care for people with complex mental and physical health needs. This event offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding, hear directly from leading researchers, and explore ways to improve outcomes for people living with severe mental illness.
