(Interim) Associate Director of Policy
Sam’s background is in policy, advocacy and campaigning on a range of issues in the UK and globally. He spent the first decade of his career working at Stonewall changing laws and practices, including working with the NHS to improve health inequalities. He has also worked on end-of-life rights, loneliness, wealth inequality and climate justice. He spent 4 years as a trustee, including a period as Chair, of the Climate Coalition in the UK.
Sam lives with mental illness and his experience drives and informs his advocacy. In his spare time Sam enjoys nature, travel and spending time with his partner Ben and their dog Margot.
