Rocio has a strong passion for improving mental health services, particularly for vulnerable people. She has done fieldwork in TB services in Pakistan, she has worked on trauma-informed approaches to address vicarious trauma in NHS staff, and she has worked on the frontline as a mental health support worker. She has a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of York, and she is skilled in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research.
