Richard Fass is a Chartered Accountant and our Honorary Treasurer. He has a strong background in finance and was previously Managing Director of the Jewish Chronicle Newspaper as well as Head of Finance of the Alzheimer's Society.
Richard has a wealth of experience in mental health trusts having held the position of a non-executive director with North West London Mental Health NHS Trust. During his time there, he chaired the Audit Committee, acted as a complaints convenor and chaired Manager's hearings for patients detained under the Mental Health Act. He was also a Non-Executive Director of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust. He has been treasurer and trustee of several other health related charities.
Richard is currently the Treasurer of the Benevolent Fund of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, an independent member of the Finance Committee of the Physiological Society, a Trustee and chair of the Marketing, Communications & Fundraising Committee of Brandon Trust, a learning difficulties charity based in Bristol and a qualified volunteer for Camden Citizens Advice Bureau as well as the Court Witness Service.
