Martin Barrow is a former journalist who now works in corporate relations. He was at The Times for almost 25 years, where he was Health Editor after four years as news editor. He was also Foreign News Editor and Business News Editor. He has written extensively about mental health and was shortlisted for the Mind Media Awards in 2013 for a campaign on addiction to prescribed medication. He and his family are foster carers and work with children and families in crisis.
