Jess is a researcher on the evaluation of the MAC-UK's Integrate Model for working with excluded young people in Camden and Haringey.

She previously worked as a youth worker and project coordinator at charity Ebony Horse Club in Brixton, which works with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, engaging them through horse riding and work with animals, and providing mentoring support. Her role particularly involved supporting excluded young adults transitioning into and sustaining work and monitoring and evaluating the project.

Jess has a degree in Social Policy with a focus on criminology from the London School of Economics and has a masters from Oxford in evidence-based social intervention.

Jess also spent four months working in a school in Uganda. She became interested in supporting former child soldiers and on return to the UK held awareness and fundraising events.
