Amarno Inai

Peer Researcher

Amarno is a visual artist and participant of First Class Legacy’s ‘Dear Youngers’ programme. Through his works within the arts, Amarno seeks to promote positive mental health.

In his work as a peer researcher, Amarno gathers effective and accurate research so that it may be used to benefit underserved communities and demographics most affected by mental health difficulties. He believes that positive mental health is essential for individuals to self-actualise and contribute positively to society. Through his work for Centre for Mental Health, using his nuanced understanding of underserved communities, he can help create lasting change and influence policy to better serve communities most in need and neglected.

Amarno is currently producing his debut solo exhibition Katharsis: Purification through art, a visual diary chronicling his own mental health journey.
