Julie is the Centre’s IPS Projects Manager and the lead IPS Trainer. She has worked in mental health for nearly 20 years.

Julie is currently project managing a £1.2 million IPS project funded by City Bridge Trust working with local Minds in Newham and Bromley to help Londoners with severe and enduring mental health problems find and remain in employment using Individual Placement and Support (IPS). Julie also delivers the Centre’s 2 day IPS Doing What Works course.

Julie previously worked as a senior manager in NHS Mental Health Trusts running employment and recovery services. She is an experienced trainer, coach and counsellor. She is an Associate of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Training.

Julie is passionate about suicide prevention, fair employment practices, reducing stigma and promoting mental wellbeing at work. In her spare time she volunteers for her local branch of Samaritans. On a Sunday she can be found rambling in the Countryside. She also enjoys languages, travel and Tai Chi.
