We’re looking for a researcher with the passion for equality through mental health research. We need someone who enjoys teamwork and co-production, with a flexible and agile approach to achieving project goals. The vacancy is for 12 months initially, to lead some of our children and adult mental health research and evaluation projects, and to work across other projects with research team colleagues. We will accept applications for full-time or part-time (0.6 FTE, 0.8FTE).

We usually work online at present, but this role will include some face-to-face data collection using mainly qualitative research methods (so you need to be UK based). You should also have knowledge of quantitative methods, and the ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly and convincingly for a lay audience.

We have an office near Oxford Circus, or you can choose to be based at home. We offer a range of wellbeing support including social events, generous annual leave, one paid hour a week for a personal wellbeing activity, and a comprehensive employee assistance programme. We support your career development with relevant training and offer up to 12% employers pension contributions.

Centre for Mental Health wishes to increase our diversity and we particularly welcome applications from people from racialised backgrounds. All our shortlisting is done without reference to personal details including where you were educated. We do not require a degree if relevant skills and experience can be demonstrated in another way.

To apply, please complete the below application form and email it to hr@centreformentalhealth.org.uk.

Interviews will be held on 25 August.
