There are 29 sites involved in this project and they are spread around England, with one in Wales and one in Ireland.

The six Demonstration Sites are areas which have clearly made excellent progress in successfully embedding recovery-focused practice at an organisational level. They may benefit from the opportunity to share positive practice and to gain peer support from other sites facing similar challenges with guidance from the project team members. These sites are:
The pilot sites have made significant progress in developing some of the elements of high quality, recovery-focused practice and demonstrate a strong commitment to build on this and fully embed a recovery culture at an organisational level.
Our team will assist these sites to develop their recovery-oriented practice throughout their organisation and network. Over the course of the project, they will receive expert consultancy and access to workshops where they can share positive practice, gain support from their peers and get expert guidance from the Project Team. These sites are:
The network sites have begun to implement recovery-focused practice, but are not yet at the level of the Demonstration or Pilot sites. They will be expected to undertake the process of assessment, goal setting, action planning and review and will also be offered the opportunity to attend the workshops.
Sites will also be invited to nominate a Recovery Lead who can liaise with, and seek the advice and guidance of, a member of the Project Team to access advice and support from the Demonstration sites. The Network Sites are:
