- For the first time, the whole of government has today committed to promote mental wellbeing and to make life better for people with mental health problems in the New Horizons strategy, which sets out a new set of ambitions for the next 10 years of mental health policy in England.

- Sainsbury Centre chief executive Angela Greatley will retire at the end of October 2009. Following Angela's decision, our funder has informed us that in view of its increased funding of other programmes it does not envisage funding the Centre long-term.
