The Government publishes details of a new national network of local liaison and diversion services

The Department of Health has published a list of police stations and courts that now provide local liaison and diversion services. The 101 members of the national network will intervene at an early stage to identify and assess those with mental health or substance misuse problems and help them into treatment where appropriate.
