The UK Mental Health and Learning Disability Employment List

The employment list is the national e-community of people using and working in mental health and learning disability employment services. It is jointly managed by the Centre for Mental Health and Oxleas NHS Trust on behalf of its members.

The usual way for people to join the list is by recommendation from a colleague. But you can join the list yourself by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Google.
  2. Click "groups".
  3. Click "sign-in" (very top right hand corner).
  4. If you're already a member of google sign in with your password etc.
  5. If you're not already a member click "open a new account".
  6. Fill in the prompts.
  7. Click your agreement to their terms and conditions.
  8. Write "employmentlist" in the search box and click.
  9. Click on the link attached to the description of the group.
  10. Fill in your mail preferences.
  11. Click submit and you should be ready to post.
