Michael Parsonage

Michael Parsonage is an economist who since December 2002 has been working as a Chief Economist at the Centre for Mental Health, where he has produced a number of reports based on the application of economic analysis to mental health issues.

He has also worked on a consultancy basis for a number of other organisations in the mental health field, including the Mental Health Foundation, the Scottish Association for Mental Health, the Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health and the All Wales Mental Health Promotion Network, and is a Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He previously worked as a senior economist in the Department of Health and then in HM Treasury.
